The Lowdown

You’ll throttle forward at full speed in a cart with a chute trailing behind until suddenly, you’re flying over a pristine part of the Sonoran Desert rich with wildlife and exotic plant life. And not only is it an amazing experience, but AZ Powerchutes knows that it’s YOUR flight: they’ll fly low to explore or high above the mountains for a panoramic vista…all at a leisurely constant 26 mph. Your wish is their command!
Upon landing, you’ll be awarded a first flight certificate and pilot’s log book to prove to all that you have soared like a bird in a powered parachute. You can rest easy, too, knowing that you’re in good hands. Randy Long, your host and pilot/instructor, is an FAA certified flight instructor (CFI) for powered parachutes and also a commercial pilot and instructor for hot air balloons. He has logged over 2000 hours of flight time and maintains a perfect flying record, so all you need to think about in flight is how beautiful things are from up there.
