Sometimes, you just want to slam the petal to the metal. Unfortunately, the California Highway Patrol doesn’t look too kindly on that sort of thing, at least on public roads. On the private indoor track at Fast Lap, The Man’s rules don’t apply, and you’re free to indulge your automotive id. These karts place you just inches off the ground and can zip through the straightaways at more than 50 mph (don’t worry: state-of-the-art safety equipment will keep you safe and sound). Not impressed?  You probably should be---Fast Lap has gotten the attention of professional drivers including Kurt Busch and Paul Tracy, and if it’s good enough to challenge NASCAR and F1 drivers, then you’ll be white-knuckling in no time. Bring a date, bring your family, bring your friends, but leave your excuses at the door, because speed don’t lie.
