When summer came and the area’s lemons ripened, he mixed the two together with some sugar and created a magical, refreshing drink. Over time, DeLucia’s descendants brought his secret recipe across the sea to Rhode Island, where Del’s soft frozen fruit ice rightly became famous. Now, it's here in LA. Rejoice!
